18 October 1944: Recce Overloon area with 2 i/c 165 HAA Regt R.A.

 

19 October 1944: Move to Overloon posphoned owing to rain, 9 Bty comes under command 165 Hvy A/A Regiment.

 

20 October 1944: Move W.L. to St Anthonis area i.e. into 24 Bty old W.L.

 

21 October 1944: Move to new area 13.30hrs ready, 17.30hrs. Bombard scale 10 at 19.35Hrs.

 

22 October 1944: CAGRA visits position, stand by for Arty R. "A"sub sent to W.L. for repair by Articifer RA. No firing.

 

23 October 1944: Dig in and generally improved position, Recce OPs to support 9 Bde and in particular 1 KOSB, no firing.

 

24 October 1944: Recce 8 Bde area Meerslo. Recce 2 OPs in Venray. No firing.

 

25 October 1944: BC visit CBO Lieutenant Lee attached to CBO, no firing.
